Newly engaged Leonard and Dawn have found their dream home at Knights Park, Eddington
Newly engaged couple, Leonard Chieng and Dawn Lok, are overjoyed that they have found their dream home in the sought-after neighbourhood of Knights Park, Eddington just outside the centre of Cambridge. As first-time buyers, the couple were looking to take their first step on the property ladder in a location that was quieter than the city centre but still had a vibrant community at its heart. Their new two-bedroom apartment at Fusion in Knights Park offers all of this and more, and now Leonard and Dawn are so excited to begin the next chapter of their lives together here.
After spending over a year renting beside Cambridge’s green space of Parker’s Piece, Leonard and Dawn enjoyed being close to nature but felt it was time to purchase their own home that better suited their lifestyle. They wanted a calmer setting, away from the constant hustle and bustle, yet still convenient for their daily commutes. Leonard, an NHS doctor, and Dawn, a scientist at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, soon discovered that life in Eddington offers the perfect balance.
“Life here feels calm but connected. It’s thriving, yet there’s a relaxed rhythm to it. We can stay busy at our own pace while still enjoying everything that one of the world’s most famous cities has to offer. Moving here has given us a new lifestyle, and we’re really starting to feel a true sense of belonging in this flourishing part of Cambridge.”
Leonard continues: “When we first visited Knights Park, we loved seeing all the green space – it almost felt rural. Eddington is a very desirable place to live in Cambridge, and for our commutes, it is ideal. We are so close to the M11 and can both be at work in under 20 minutes. There is also a convenient bus from the development, which heads right into the city centre – it’s all on our doorstep.”
